Last time I went, it was good. Nice portions, friendly staff, and plenty of seating.

Brisket sandwich is amazing. Get the double meat at lunch. No need for dinner after that

Amazing food. I missed Texas bbq and this place did not disappoint. The Mac and cheese, potato's and chopped brisket sandwich was great. Had the jalapeño sausage as well. Highly recommend.

I got the chopped beef sandwich and it was full of meat and flavor. The brisket was moist and tasty!

I rarely give a five star review, but Brown's earned it. I brought my sweetheart to Austin to celebrate his birthday, and when I asked him what he wanted to eat, his response was "barbecue." It seemed that most everyone goes to Terry Black's, but after reading Brown's Yelp reviews, I knew we had to go. My boyfriend got brisket and ribs, I got a brisket wrap, and we chose four sides--slaw, green beans, the other beans, and macaroni and cheese. They were all good, but the green beans were my favorite. I love vinegar; if you don't, I recommend that you forego the slaw. Service was excellent. Everything about this experience was phenomenal.

Hands down the best BBQ in all of Austin! It only is it perfectly cooked, but the flavor is unmatched. The same goes for their sides. Love the slaw the best, but you can't go wrong with any of them!

Was in the area while in Austin. The city is bug on food trucks, I see. Nevertheless, got some grilled chicken with sauce, potato salad, and baked beans. The chicken hit the spot. The mustard potato salad was more mashed than lumpy. It still was good. The baked beans were not of the sugary variety. Must say that I enjoyed all of it.

You often hear lots of Austin BBQ establishments have some sign somewhere that says "Best BBQ in Texas." I've been to my fair share of them, but I think the place that actually deserves that hype is Brown's Bar-B-Que. This place is totally slept on and deserves to have a two hour line where you camp out and wait to eat this deliciousness. Across from a bar with some wooden tables where the BBQ smoke drifts over and makes your mouth water, is Brown's Bar-B-Que in a red food truck. The people who work here are genuinely nice. They have great recommendations and I really felt like that wanted to have conversation. It was just such a pleasant interaction. I first ordered a brisket wrap and oh my goodness. I think this was the best thing I have ever eaten in Austin. Large amounts of tender, mouthwatering brisket all wrapped in a convenient food vehicle - a flour tortilla. I want everyone to know... I literally ate this wrap in probably 5 minutes exclaiming "this is the best thing I have ever eaten!!" and promptly got back into line and ordered another one. The brisket is just so well seasoned and not dry at all! I love pickles and jalapeños with brisket and the wrap had all of these things! I cannot wait to go back here. It's the first stop I'm going to make passing through Austin next time I go. Highly recommend this place!! I can't say enough about it!

Wow, I can't believe I have never been here previously. Browns BBQ is a family owned buisness and been in ATX for 12 years now. The have incredibly friendly and fast service. The ambiance is nice and chill and you can eat your food in the outdoor area or in the neighboring bar. The food was fantastic. I couldn't believe how much brisket you get for the price when you order the wrap. The brisket was incredibly tender and well seasoned and the pulled pork was just as amazing. The side of corn was cooked perfect with some spice seasoning. This is a fantastic meal and highly recommend anyone who loves brisket to come visit. They deserve way more press, preferred this to Terry Blacks.

IG: @jojuane I'm not sure why this place isn't showing up BBQ lists as a destination. They're pumping out good 'cue! Been at their location for 11 yrs. Quality. Scale: 5 -brisket was moist and flavored just right. You could enjoy it without the need of a sauce. 5 - Spare ribs were huge and had the bite and didn't break apart from being over cooked. Flavor was nice. 3 - Beef sausage was meh. 3 - Mac n cheese 5 - potato salad This place is legit and will go up my priority list and should be on everyone else's. P.S. To those who are interested, it is a black owned business.
